Prepare to travel back in time- this term we are going to be time travellers
This term is all about what life would have been like 10 years ago, 50 years ago, 100 years ago, 1000 years ago.
We will be going on a Florence Nightingale adventure back in time to when there was no electricity and the hospitals had no modern equipment. What would it have been like to have been a nurse that long ago?
We will be looking at the time of the dinosaurs and imagining what it would have been like to have lived amongst them, how do we know dinosaurs even existed? We will be researching artists that created wonderful paintings that can still be viewed today. During our science investigations we will be finding out if we can hatch our very own dinosaur!

We carried out a really fun science experiment. Our baby dinosaurs were trapped in the ice and we needed to free them quickly. We used sugar, salt, coffee and oil in a bowl to see which would help free the dinosaurs the quickest. What do you think we predicted to be the substance that would melt the ice the quickest?
To find out the results ask the pupils in the Woodpeckers class to tell you!
