Bears 3-4 year Nursery
Children can be registered for a nursery place after their first birthday and will be offered a nursery place the term (September, January and April) after their third birthday.
We currently offer 52 morning places and 52 afternoon places, five days a week.
Prior to starting nursery parents and guardians will be invited to attend a short meeting in order to obtain more information about our nursery. We also offer the opportunity for parents and guardians to look around the nursery and ask any questions. After this meeting all parents and guardians will receive a letter to confirm their child's nursery place; it will also contain start dates and times. Initially children will be invited to start nursery in small groups to ensure all children and parents and guardians receive the support needed in settling.
We also offer three 'Get Ready for Nursery Sessions' prior to your child attending nursery. These sessions prove very valuable in helping your child to become familiar with the nursery environment and staff.
A home visit is offered to all parents and guardians and is strongly recommended if your child has not previously attended a nursery or day care setting or spent time away from their main carer. Staff from our nursery will visit your child a few days before your child is due to start. If you wish to request a home visit please contact the school.
If you wish to register your child for a nursery place, please complete the nursery application form and return it to the school address. Alternatively you may wish to contact the school directly.
