Attendance
Coming to school every day and on time is so important.
We work hard at Cotmanhay Infant and Nursery School to support and encourage children and families to have great attendance.
WHY?

GOOD ATTENDANCE MEANS 96% AND OVER
- We monitor every child's attendance
- We follow up all absence
- We have a clear attendance policy
- We have clear procedures for poor attendance
- We reward good attendance in many ways
SIMPLE REMINDERS:
- Let us know if your child is poorly and off school - you can dojo us
- Don't keep them off for a cough or cold
- Holidays in term time cannot be authorised and you may be fined (school do not get the money)
- Children must be in before 9am
- Lates are not OK
- We monitor attendance
- Persistently poor attendance may result in a fine (school do not get the money)
- We will always support families with attendance
- ATTENDANCE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS/CARERS
