Reception

Robins, Raccoons and Whales

(Reception for children aged 4 to 5)

Applications for places in reception are made through Derbyshire County Council and the allocation of places is made by the local authority.

Robins

Miss Foster is the teacher in Robins and is supported by Mrs Taylor.

Raccoons

Whales

Mrs Gillott is the teacher in Whales and is supported by Mrs Jones-Moody.

We aim to support our children emotionally, socially and academically, to achieve the very best that they can.

We are very lucky to have a large outdoor area which provides opportunities for large-scale play and for exploring nature. The children also regularly visit the Forest School area for lots of learning activities.

Visitors to the unit are always welcome and potential parents are invited to arrange to see the classrooms and meet the staff.
