Nursery Bears 3 - 4 Years

Welcome to Cotmanhay Nursery

Nursery Bears

Welcome to our class page. We hope you enjoy exploring our page and finding out about our brilliant Bears Nursery.

Our Day in Nursery

Our nursery is split over two large rooms, which offers our children lots of space to play and explore.

Each day all the children engage in a short, fun and exciting carpet session with links to the current topics and themes. The children then have the opportunity to carry out a range of activities independently both indoors and outdoors and they will work with an adult on more focused learning tasks.  All children are offered a daily, healthy snack with a drink of milk or water and fresh drinking water is always available for the children to access. The children are given the opportunity to explore and play outside in the nursery garden and each day they participate in some short activities from the Foundations for Phonics program provided by Little Wandle. We end each session with a story from our core book box and sing our focus nursery rhyme.

If you have any queries or wish to speak with a member of the team you are very welcome to telephone school on 0115 9302064, the best time is after 3.15pm. Alternatively we have a nursery email address, nursery@cotmanhay-inf.derbyshire.sch.uk which you can use at any time and you can get in touch also via our class dojo pages and we will endeavour to reply at the earliest chance.
